Every chat application boasts of being the best, and users wonder what other features have been added. There is a lot of competition among developers of mobile phone chat application.
WeChat is another application that is giving WhatsApp some serious competition. With this application you can now make a video call similar to Skype. The application tries to bring all your communication needs together, whether it is texting, calling and sharing of audio, video and photos.
The application is easy to install, and logs on using the user’s phone number. It scans the contacts and gives the user a list of suggested friends giving the user the right to select who to add. The app also creates a QR code which friends can use to add the user to their lists.
The User Interface was created with Apple in mind. Considering the animations, transitions and pop-ups, it feels like the application was created for use in Apple devices. However, the application works well with other phones. Users feel that the UI should be given a little more frills, to make it as colorful as other Android applications. The Interface is not heavy, and there are no lags when using the application.
The User Experience is great, since the application comes with a lot of features, which work flawlessly. Voice messaging is fantastic since the users gets to hear the voice of the person at the other end of the line, irrespective of which continent he or she may be.
Add this feature to the group chat, and users get to feel like they are in the same room with a bunch of their peers. Video call is great, but there is a slight lag in the audio, where the mouth moves and the voice comes later. Media sharing works great too. The application is poised for a rapid increase in popularity.
